The Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) is exhibiting at the Executive Hire Show for the 14th year running since the event’s inception in 2007. A leading trade association for construction plant hire in the UK, the CPA is the principal point of contact for all issues relating to construction plant.
With over 1,700 members who supply 85% of hired plant to the construction industry, the CPA works with government departments and agencies, local authorities, construction clients, private companies, other trade associations, and third sector organisations, on issues including employee health and safety, machinery standards and emissions control, public safety and road transport, skills and employment.
CPA membership benefits include the use of CPA Model Conditions and the provision of unique support on safety and training issues. The CPA publishes a wide range of guidance documents that are distributed widely throughout the construction industry and many are available for immediate free download from the CPA website at www.cpa.uk.net.
The CPA team will be on hand at the show to talk through some of the exciting projects the association is currently working on such as new apprenticeships for the sector, the CPA skills strategy, Stars of the Future 2020 and the CPA Conference 2020, as well as issues such as revisions to the CPA conditions.
